CAD Technician

We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Technician to join us.
Role Overview
In this role, you’ll handle multiple projects, coordinate all aspects of CAD, and assist with mechanical design work (with training provided). You’ll also coordinate drawings across mechanical and other service disciplines, ensuring integrated and high-quality outputs.
A key part of the position will involve managing and organising project documentation, ensuring that drawings, specifications, and records are correctly produced, stored, and shared in accordance with company and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Use CAD software to produce and coordinate technical drawings.
Collaborate with mechanical and other service teams to ensure seamless design integration.
Understand mechanical processes and provide coordination for project workflows.
Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Use and navigate various document management systems to upload, retrieve, and update files.
Ensure accurate version control and proper distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience with CAD software.
Familiarity with Revit and BIM is a plus.
Experience in handling and managing documents within various document control systems, such as SharePoint, Aconex, Viewpoint, Fonn, or similar.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in document handling.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
