The Silver Hill project Peterborough is being delivered for Anchor Trust with Deeley Construction as the main contractor.
The scheme consists of an 81-bed Extra Care facility, designed to deliver high standards of energy efficiency, comfort, and safety for residents.
The mechanical design incorporates an innovative Daikin ambient loop system, providing low-temperature water to each apartment. This is then converted into heating and hot water via an internal heat pump within each dwelling. Ventilation is provided through Nuaire MVHR units, ensuring fresh air supply and energy recovery in line with current building regulations.
The development also includes a Category 3 sprinkler system, two dry risers, and commercial air conditioning systems on the ground floor to manage overheating and maintain occupant comfort.
