The Oundle Extra Care project is being delivered for Housing 21 with Deeley Construction as the main contractor.
The development comprises 65 self-contained apartments and associated communal areas, designed to provide safe, efficient, and comfortable accommodation for residents.
Each apartment is served by a Dimplex Edel EAHP (Exhaust Air Heat Pump), providing both heating and domestic hot water. Ventilation is achieved through Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems to ensure healthy air quality and energy efficiency.
Fire safety measures include a Category 3 sprinkler system serving both the apartments and communal areas. The communal zones also feature heat recovery air conditioning to enhance comfort throughout shared spaces.
A commercial kitchen is also included within the scheme, equipped with roof-mounted supply and extract fans ducted through a fire-rated riser shaft to maintain safe and effective working conditions.
